Evaluation (5 Mins Film)

Given a brief to work in a group to create a 5 mins film with a genre of our choice, brought me back to a familiar experience i had in college. so i found it much easier when it comes to the research, the pre-production, post production and the final outcome.
when we were first given the brief, my group had our first meeting about what the genre we are choosing, the style of the movie, the story line and then assigned each other a role to do.  i was given the role of an actress and later the role of a sound designer.
so i did some research on how sound makes a big impact on a movie, how to move my body in a certain angle, facial emotions and editing techniques as well as watching movies like the shutter island, halloween 1 and 2, nightmare on elm street, the exorcist of emily rose. i gained ideas on how to look frightened, what sound will go with what scene and how to move in a certain ways.
shutter island started off with the main character acting really innocent and normal but towards the end you realise that the main character is actually the crazy psychotic killer this helped me in a way as My Character Could  familiarize to his Character when it comes to going from being innocent, to being the psychotic killer and this led me to nightmare on elm street in where i had to act innocent and scared and unaware of the killer. i studied the victims expressions and their body language and also studied the psychological effect it has on them. and also did some research about developing a character and making them sound realistic.
so basically a did a profile of my character; her name, her age, her personalities, her history and what makes her tick.
my character name : Jenny,
 age: 21,
Personality: loves being bubbles, loves playing psychological games on herself and has spilt personality
What Makes Her Tick: the smell of blood
Favorite Quote: Blood Blood Keeps Me Going! etc
she is very child like and believes her teddy is a real person that shrunk because of lighting!

overall, i enjoyed the process of the pre production, post production and final outcome however our organisation skills needs work and certain member in our group needs to pull their weigh and stop complaining about not being included in preparing and production of the film when they couldn't be bothered to do anything about to do the role they were given.
